The Victoria Independent School District (VISD) announces that the main entrance of the VISD Administration Building will be closed to the public starting July 15 for essential HVAC work. During this period, those visiting the VISD Administration Building will need to enter at the rear of the building, which faces Profit St on the N Ben Wilson St side. The parking lot is accessible off E. Rio Grande St. Visitors will continue to be required to check in with a photo ID.

Online Student Registration:

For assistance with online student registration, please visit www.VISD.net/registration or contact your child’s campus for assistance and/or to provide the required registration documents.

Transcripts:

Transcript requests can be made online at www.visd.net/transcripts

Talent Acquisition, Support & Retention (TASR):

Anyone needing to meet with the TASR Department staff will go to the front main entrance and call 361.788.9228 or 361.788.9227 to be escorted to the TASR Department. Visitors will be required to check in.

July 18 Regular Monthly Board Meeting Relocation:

The district is committed to maintaining open and transparent communication with our community. We recognize the importance of accessibility for our board meetings. Due to technical limitations at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, the district will not livestream the event.

Despite this limitation, the district is dedicated to ensuring the public can still access the meeting. It will be recorded and posted on VISD.net within seven days, in accordance with legal requirements under BE(Legal).

The July 18 Regular Monthly Board Meeting will be relocated to the Victoria Fine Arts Center. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. as scheduled. We encourage the public to attend and participate.
