2024-2025 INCOME SURVEYS

Victoria ISD Child Nutrition Department online INCOME SURVEY entry makes it easy and convenient to apply for meal benefits for your child(ren). Simply enter the requested information as accurately as possible, and all data will be instantly and securely sent to your child(ren)'s school district for processing.

Children are automatically eligible for free school meals if their household receives Food Stamps, or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations or, in most cases, benefits under the Temporary Assistance for needy families(TANF) program ,or based on their status as ,migrant, homeless/runaway, or foster child. Children can also qualify for Free or reduced school meals based on their household income and family size. Completing the income survey can also provide your child with additional benefits such as: He/she may qualify for Free/discounted daycare/after-school care(YMCA/Boys & Girls Club),Free/Discounted ACT/SAT testing fees, Scholarships/Grants, Free/Discounted college/technical school admissions, Discounted Summer Camps(YMCA/Boys & Girls Club and Red & White League, Athletic Camps), Discounted Internet/phone service. Your child's school could be eligible for additional funding for: Staff, Instructional materials, Technology, Teacher training, Family/Community involvement activities.

If you have children at multiple campuses you will have to fill out one household income survey for the household.

Participating Campuses are: Aloe Elementary, Cade Middle School, Chandler Elementary, Crain Elementary, Deleon Elementary, Dudley Elementary, ECC at FW Gross, Hopkins Elementary, Howell Middle School, Mission Valley Elementary, O’Connor Elementary, Patti Welder Middle School, Rowland Elementary, Schorlemmer Elementary, Shields Elementary, Smith Elementary, Stroman Stem Middle School, Torres Elementary, Vickers Elementary, VISD Success Academy/DAEP, East High School, and West High School

Please include ALL students and ALL members living in the home as "household members" on the income survey.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. The Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act requires the information on this application. You do not have to give the information, but if you do not, we cannot approve your child for free or reduced-price meals. You must include the last four digits of the social security number of the adult household member who signs the application. The last four digits of the social security number is not required when you apply on behalf of a foster child or you list a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) case number or other FDPIR identifier for your child or when you indicate that the adult household member signing the application does not have a social security number. We will use your information to determine if your child is eligible for free or reduced-price meals, and for administration and enforcement of the lunch and breakfast programs. We MAY share your eligibility information with education, health, and nutrition programs to help them evaluate, fund, or determine benefits for their programs, auditors for program reviews, and law enforcement officials to help them look into violations of program rules.
