Family & Medical Leave
Any employee needing 5 or more days away from work due to their own serious health condition, the birth or placement of a child, or to care for a qualified family member with a serious health condition should request the time off using TalentED and complete a Benefits Office Leave packet.
Types of Job-Protected leave include Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and Temporary Disability. Eligibility requirements vary. Most medical leave requires a Health Care Providers Certification establishing the need for leave.
Before returning from medical leave, employees must provide a written return to work release.
Work Related Injury or Illness
All work related injuries or illnesses must be reported immediately to your manager, supervisor, or principal.
Here’s what to do in three Quick Steps.
First Report of Injury forms can be printed from here.
