As Victoria Independent School District continues work on its 2025-29 District Strategic Plan, the district is unveiling a newly formatted Administration Report designed to provide the community with a more efficient, intentional, and transparent view of district operations.

The Administration Report has always served as a vital tool for keeping the community informed, and this refined format further strengthens its impact. Now structured around VISD’s five strategic priorities, the report organizes departmental updates under these key areas each month. This alignment enhances clarity and reinforces the district’s commitment to transparency and progress monitoring, allowing stakeholders to see how ongoing efforts contribute to achieving exemplary student outcomes.

“The updated Administration Report format strengthens our commitment to transparency and ensures that stakeholders see how district initiatives align with our long-term goals,” said Sheila Collazo, VISD superintendent. “By structuring the report around our strategic priorities, we provide a clear, focused view of the work in progress to support students, staff, and the entire VISD community.”

The Administration Report will continue to serve as a bridge between the district’s internal operations and the broader community, providing stakeholders with insight into the efforts and initiatives shaping student success. By emphasizing progress monitoring, the report enables community members to see how VISD is advancing toward its strategic goals.

Additionally, the district is introducing a dedicated Student Accolades section, which will highlight student achievements in academics, athletics, fine arts, and other areas. This new feature ensures that student success remains at the forefront of the district’s communications.

“Our students are at the heart of everything we do, and the Student Accolades section gives us a platform to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments,” said Ashley Alvarez, executive director of public relations and communications.

The newly formatted Administration Report will be available to the community on the week prior to school board meetings and will be accessible at www.visd.net/adminreport
