During the January 18 school board meeting, trustees engaged in thorough discussions regarding SB763, , colloquially known as "The Chaplain Bill," weighing its potential benefits and implications for their district. On February 13, during the subsequent school board meeting, trustees cast a unanimous vote of 5-0 to reaffirm the district's current practice of permitting chaplains, along with other faith-based and religious individuals, to apply for existing employment and volunteer opportunities within the district.
