Every three years, Victoria ISD reviews the current zoning for student school attendance using a community task force to review the current and future student enrollment projections. While the District does not anticipate significant attendance zone changes, the District welcomes input from community members as we review our current zones.
The Zoning Review Task Force will meet on Tuesday, November 8, Thursday, November 10, Tuesday, December 6, and Thursday, December 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The task force will be made up of in-district stakeholders who would like to serve.
Due to the amount of information to be shared and discussed, task force members must attend all four (4) meetings. Task force members who attend the first meeting will be invited to continue participating in the remaining meetings. The Zoning Review Task Force will present a recommendation to the Victoria ISD Board of Trustees to consider any changes to the current policy regarding zoning at the conclusion.
If you are interested in sitting on the Zoning Review Task Force, please complete THIS FORM by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 4.
