VISD Announces Early Opening for 2025-26 Student Priority Registration on April 1

Priority Registration Opens April 1 – April 30

The Victoria Independent School District will open student registration for the 2025-26 school year earlier than usual, beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Priority registration will run from April 1 through April 30, allowing families to secure a seat at their home-zoned campus by registering early.

All students—both new and returning—who plan to attend a VISD school must complete registration using the district’s online system. This includes students enrolling in the Early Childhood Center and Pre-K programs. Online registration will be available in both English and Spanish.

To ensure a smooth process, parents of students currently enrolled in VISD must have a valid guardian email on file in the student information system. Any updates to a student’s primary guardian email must be submitted to their campus by March 4, 2025. The week of March 24, parents of returning students will receive an individualized 2025-26 Registration Snapcode via email. This Snapcode serves as a secure key to access and complete the enrollment process for returning students. Families with multiple children will receive a unique Snapcode for each student.

Both new and returning students will be required to provide proof of address, a parent or guardian’s photo ID, and an updated immunization record if enrolling in Early Education (EE), Pre-K3 (P3), Pre-K (PK), Kindergarten (K), or seventh grade. If additional documents are needed, the school will contact the family directly.

VISD encourages families to mark their calendars for April 1 and complete registration as early as possible to ensure placement at their home-zoned campus.
