Teacher Biography

Hello! I am Xochitl (So-chil) Alvarado. I am the music teacher here at the fabulous DeLeon Dragons! I have taught for 15 years and not all in music. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade and now music, which is my passion. I have been a mariachi musician for over 25 years. I play the violin and sing in my mariachi band. I have taught many afterschool programs which include teaching vocals, music reading, and beginning violin. I have a husband and a son which is also a DeLeon Dragon. We LOVE our school and are excited to see what will come next!
